I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being a fireman, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Ghandi is a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it that often, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here. I play by the rules and I'm here to win.
I currently have a few on going projects in the works:
- Wednesday nights from 9 to 11, I do a radio show on 91.1 KLSU. If you aren't in range for the radio you can tune in on www.klsu.fm
I also DJ quite a bit, usually up in the club about once a week. When I do, I like to bring the house down with my unique style. I'll work the mixer like I'm performing a revivial, hang from the rafters, jump on the mic, and just FREAK THE FUNK OUT! Currently, there are a few dates on the menu:
Saturday September 8th the Thirsty Tiger. It goes down. It's funky. A real underground event with special guests each week.
Dec. 21st Brownie Beats @ the Dragon's Den. New Orleans. Dj'z J Young, Beat Grrl, Chad Y, mic PhedUSHA, Audiophile. Come by the last one was off the heezy.
Dec. 26th, I"m having a nightmare after Christmas party. Inquire within for details.
I recently put together a new website: www.phedusha.com. It has a blog, and some funny pictures and such. Check it out.....
I think this pretty much explains what I'm into:
Electro-Space-Psychedelic-Funk.. .What you are looking at here is a drum- synth- suit. It really cranks out the good stuff when the Laptop isn't crashing. Once the bugs are worked out, you may hear me bouncin' down your sidewok. Boom-a-tic-tick-BOOM!
