About Me

"I am from New Orleans. Like New Orleans, my life is a melting pot of strange experiences which often give new meaning to the words "BIG EASY." I seem to know a little bit about everything and everything about nothing. These skill sets were built by entertaining many jobs in the past. Not all of my jobs were glamorous, but some of them made up for the others.I learned how to mix records in 1995 in Orlando while working at Disney World. When I returned to New Orleans in 97 no one would book me to play records, so i began to throw my own parties. I ran and Dj'd at several club nights while attending college. Loved it!After college and a journalism degree, I started my own magazine. (www.speedmagazine.us) We started in New Orleans and Baton Rouge Louisiana and grew to: Lafayette, Gainsville, Talahassee, Knoxville and Athens.After four years in the business, I sold out and moved to Tampa, Fl. for a new job and life. It is great here. The sun is bright and the ladies are beautiful. I DJ here at Bahasa every friday and the Hard Rock on special occasions and on 88.5 fm on thur nights from 1am - 3am on the Zentripzitees show. My favorite thing to do is vacation. I work so I can travel. I have seen a ton of places, but I still have so much to see and experience. I really enjoy playing House Music. I have been djing for almost a decade and it is still as exciting today as it was when I began. Frankly, getting paid to play music has to be one of the best jobs around (even if it is just a little bit of money). I would also like to learn how to play the piano.

Anyone really! But cool girls that like to dance and have a good time are my main interest. Intelligent conversation is a must, unless you look really good. I like to dance, so if you are a bump on a log; you might as well stay home! I take care of myself and wish everyone would - a hot shower can't hurt... and would it kill people to use face products. All joking aside, there are alot of fine girls everywhere. You have to be COOL.

Music:

I am a House Man first and foremost, but having grown up in New Orleans diversified my taste. I like to call the style of music that I play "Gumbo House." I enjoy funk, jazz, rock, hip-hop - pretty much anything with a bass line. My favorite festivals are: WMC in Miami, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, Mardi Gras and the Ibiza closing parties.

Movies:

Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, Austin Powers, Snatch, Star Wars, the list can go on and on.

Television:

Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Discovery Channel, Science Channel, and the History channel.

Books:

I am a journalist, so i read more media than novells. The web is a powerful research tool. Anyone can read the news in any country, at any time. For fun i like to poke around Maxim, www.speedmagazine.us, Popular Science, Stuff, etc.
