MELODY ROOTSIl Melody Roots Sound nasce l’8 settembre 2007 durante la notte bianca a Roma dall’idea di due appassionati di musica reggae; il primo, Fabrizio “Mr. Roots’n’Culture†Laganà , veterano da 30 anni nella scena reggae italiana e non, Dj, promoter di eventi culturali e scrittore di due libri sul reggae, nonché fondatore dell’Associazione culturale No Profit “Social Reggae Project†insieme a Francesco Cenci; ed il secondo , Mario Lorusso , alla prima esperienza seria nel mondo della musica reggae dal vivo. Il gruppo dei Melody Roots nasce con l’intento di promuovere serate musicali e concerti, presentazioni di libri, conferenze e dibattiti inerenti la diffusione e lo sviluppo della musica reggae in maniera articolata e specifica, seguendo un percorso discografico lungo più di 40 anni. Tutto questo con collaborazioni musicali che coinvolgeranno anche formazioni femminili, le loro melodie e raffinatezze tecniche. I Melody Roots si avvalgono anche della fondamentale collaborazione di Giandomenico Carone, Giuseppe Lobaccaro, Daniele Parsi e Fabio Carone nel ruolo di grafici, registi e addetti alle pubbliche relazioni. Poichè siamo convinti che l'arte, la musica e la cultura vadano il più possibile valorizzati siamo contenti di aprirci a tutte le valide proposte. The Melody Roots Sound born on september 8 2007 during the famous event in Rome called “White Night†(Notte Bianca) from a good idea of two peoples that loves deep reggae music; the first man is Fabrizio “Mr.Roots’n’Culture†Laganà , Italian veteran with his 30 years on Italian reggae music scene and known also in the world during his meeting with a lot of artists and musicians, dj, promoter of cultural events and writer of two reggae books, also founded of a Cultural Association No Profit “Social Reggae Project†with Francesco Cenci (a bassist reggae musician); the second man is Mario Lorusso, his first serious experience in live reggae music. The group of Melody Roots Sound born with a special point of view to promotion a serious reggae nights and concerts, to present new publications and books, conferences and discussions about how the reggae music developed in the world, during 40 years of musical discographies. In this musical project are to involve also an ideal component like a female vocalists, with their melodies and technical refinements. The Melody Roots Sound is supported by the fundamental collaboration of Giandomenico Carone, Giuseppe Lobaccaro, Daniele Parsi and Fabio Carone like graphics, video, photo and public relations. At the first we’re ready to start our way because the art, the music and the culture must be revaluation and we’re happy to collaborate with good proposals to organize a very serious reggae nights with only conscious music to spread out only roots and culture music and messages to peace, love and unity for all.
