sci-fi, reading, robots, reading sci-fi, working, reading robots, building robots, no, really, this is my dream.
Also, getting good marks for my uni degree, so far, this is going swimmingly. I'm currently finishing the *mandatory* unit (mandatory for my degree, that is, should be mandatory for life, however), Judgment and Decision Making, it's all kinds of interesting, there is no one in the world who wouldn't benefit from taking this unit. It includes deductive logic, models of rational thought, probability and selective memory.
The coolest toys from the 70s!

The Flaming Lips, Air, Midnight Juggernauts, Black Moth Super Rainbow (great band), any space pop... Buzzcocks, Ramones, New Order, Joy Division, Rolling Stones, Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds", most of the Hitsville USA" Motown, Nerfherder, The Pixies, The Cramps, The Meteors, Demented Are Go, Frenzy, Violent Femmes, Batmobile, Jason and the Scorchers, Motorhead, Sepultura, Man or Astroman, Fantomas, Pixies, Weezer, Senor Coconut. Also, anything in my large and awesome record collection, which spans 5 decades, and makes diggers go weak. Some seriously amazing vinyl.
Blade Runner, Serenity, Heung Joh Chow Heung Yau Chow (it made me cry), Conan the Barbarian, Tetsuo, Pitch Black, Apocalypse Now, Excalibur, Pootie Tang ("Baby, I'm going to sine your pitty on the runny kine!"), Running Man, Predator ("anytime..."), Dune, Imposter, La Planète sauvage, Starman, Mars Attacks!, Primer, Flash Gordon, anything with robots shooting at space vessels and I'm good.
Idiocracy. I bought it today. $9.95 only, shop smart, you know the rest. Now to make some time to watch it. Already locked in to ET tonight, and I am going to cry like a baby when I watch that again, I'm quite comfortable with that fact however :-)
