There is something about Aaron Anastasi that defies explanation. Some intrinsic quality that longs to be identified yet eludes description.
It is there, in his music which is brilliant, magical, lingering.
It is there, in his voice when he sings, when he speaks.
It is there, in his eyes soulful, wise and searching.
Whatever it is it is there. And it is not to be overlooked.
Aaron is a talented singer/songwriter who manages to leave his imprint on the hearts and minds of all who are fortunate enough to experience his unique gifts. He reaches people by making himself vulnerable by inviting his audience into the emotions that he felt while writing a song. Songs of trust and doubt, hope and fear, love and loss. Intelligent, sensual, open and caring. He is far more than a performer he is, in fact, a communicator. He weaves stories and messages into his performance that are emphasized, accentuated and enhanced by original songs.
Aaron's vast and varied background has taken him from his home in Huntington Beach, CA to teaching snowboarding in Colorado, youth ministry in Brazil and Bolivia, and seeking higher education at Lee University and Princeton Seminary. His experiences and learning have heavily influenced his life, his writing and his music. Over the past ten years, Aaron has played for thousands of people throughout the United States and South America, performing as both a solo artist and with his band, Unsent Letters, which he formed while studying for a Masters Degree at Princeton. The groups first CD, The Princeton EP, has received rave reviews as has the new full-length, full band release, Better Than Beautiful.
Whatever that something is that Aaron possesses it is there in his music; there in his voice; there in his eyes. It is there in that thing that pulls you in and makes you want to stay with him.
It is not to be overlooked.
It is not to be forgotten.
