I'm a dedicated Mac User. I've never owned a PC and hopefully never will. I feel like PC's have their place as paper weights and landfill fillers (sorry, a little Mac humor). I love to look at store displays in the mall and shopping centers. One of my favorite store designs is Abercrombie & Fitch. I would never shop there, but I love the atmosphere there. I love thinking about and manipulating the image a business creates and studying the psychology behind business and marketing decisions (I know it sounds dull, but that's what I get excited about). I'll eat almost anything and I love Sushi, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, and other stuff that some people hate. I don't like anchovies though.
A lot of people put Jesus here, but I've already met Him and He changed my life completely. I understand why they put that answer on their profiles and trust me, If you've never met Him, he needs to be first on your list. But aside from that, If I had to make a list of celebrities, or inspirational individuals (at this point in life I have realized that no-one is any more important than the next person, but there are some I'd like to meet to learn from them, or let them know how something they said or did affected my life and decisions) I think my list would read like this:
My Mom's Mom & Dad (if nothing but to see them)
My Mom and Dad as teenagers
My Wife as a kid
Steve Jobbs
Johnny Cash
Jewel (met her once from like 5 rows back)
Bono
Jimmy Page
There are some people I have known but Haven't seen in a long time that I'd like to see again:
Justin Ramey (my childhood friend)
Matt Drinnon (my friend from elementary school)
Susan Noto (old friend from work)
*if you know any of these people or how to contact them, please let me know. I miss them and I haven't been able to find them.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
Genres
I like almost all genres, including, Pop, Alternative, Rock, Country, Blues, Classical, Dance, Electronic, Folk, Jazz, R&B, Reggae, and Hip Hop. If I had to rank them, 90's Alternative Rock and Electronic would be at the top of my list with Country close behind and Hip Hop and Jazz would be near the bottom of the list but still on the list, non the less

Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Stadium Arcadium", Jars of Clay's "Much Afraid", Todd Agnew's "Better Questions", Nickel Creek's "Why Should The Fire Die", Alison Krauss & Unioun Station's "New Favorite", Bush's "Razorblade Suitcase", CCR's "Chronicle", Jewel's "Pieces of You", Matchbox Twenty's "Mad Season, & "The Moody Blues' "Hall Of Fame: Live At The Royal Albert Hall"
O.K., at this point you're going to think I'm psyco because there are some sick (and not very family friendly) films here, but let me explin...
I have always been a movie buff since I can remember. When I was working at Blockbuster Video in the late 90's I tried to watch the "AFI top 100 films" I got through a lot of them, but I never finished the list. I had become so good at guessing the plots that I got to the point where unless the movie's plot line stumped me, it didn't really entertain me. Here is a handful of my favorites that are just great movies or have really suspenseful plot lines:
Se7en
Memento
The Die Hard Series
Identity
Saw (only the first one)
Ocean's 11 Trilogy
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Smokin' Aces
The Negotiator
Silence of The Lambs
The Shawshank Redemption
The Rock
Instinct
Panic Room
Swat
*basicly anything that doesn't end like I expect it to and I love Hostage and Heist movies.
PRISON BREAK (Alaina and I are addicted, we've not missed a minute since the show began in 2005.
Law & Order (original, CI, & SVU)
The Office
My Name is Earl
Dirty Jobs
I'm not a very good reader as far as fiction is concerned, I'm more into reading something I can learn from rather than reading for entertainment. Here is a list of some of my favorite books that I have actually read:
Timothy
Proverbs
Hebrews
God.com
7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Taming the Liger
Don't Sweat The Small Stuff (and it's all small stuff)
People that constantly inspire me:
Jesus Christ (my Savior & God)
My Wife
My Grandparents
My Mom & Dad
Rip Noble
Jerry King
Don Gillespie
Doug Messer
Scott Payseur
Paul (formerly Saul)
*these people all posses traits, or personalities that in one way or another really inspire me and cause me to look at them as role models. The only thing I hate about this is the fact that listing people here causes me to leave someone out. Let me say these are not my only heros, these are just a handful.
