About Me

When you're done check out these other IYF joints: CROWNE VIC AND THE GRAND MARQUIS and KID NICE .Welcome to the home of the almighty AWB. We're like the fat boys rolled into a huge blunt with melle mel, dmc, rappin duke, al bundy, alf, john bender & ted dibiasi the million dollar man not to mention the entire cast of the a team. The AWB started out as IYF PRODUCTIONS in 1989, and released dozens of underground rap mixtapes full of bugged out joints about experimental intoxicants, hotdog joints, stealing hubcaps, and an ode to disco deli owner/operator Stupid Fresch Panyote, who has since fled to Greece to evade tax problems. In 2000 they adopted the name Average White Boys, and the crew now consists of Chief MC Kid Nice, Bazooka Joe Nice, producer/emcee extraordinaire Al Bombz, DJ Shame and several secret weapons like MC Rick Rockski and Ryan Van Hotdog. Original AWB member Buck Paxton left the crew shortly after the release of their debut album. The AWB album Knuckle Sandwich became a MONSTER underground success in 2003, selling dozens upon dozens of copies. "The Mullet Song" received airplay on WAAF, WBCN and whatever the classic rock station in Wormtown is, and the album was inexplicably given crazy props by WBCN's Deke, as well as NYC producers Dr. Luke and Dante Ross, among many many MANY others. AWB was featured as the most downloaded act in the old school hiphop genre on mp3.com for over 11 months straight. The AWB are currently putting the finishing smudges on their newest lp Orangutang Blitzkreig. The AWB has rocked shows with Guru, Redman, Keith Murray, Erick Sermon, Edo G + The Bulldogs, Dagha, KrumbSnatcha, L tha Headtoucha, WOLVES, Clinton Sparxx, TruMystic, Uncle Dad and a bunch of other motherfuckers.AWB catches love and STD's worldwide, from MA to LA, NYC, Japan, Copenhagen, Sweden, and Brasil. For other related projects see Crown Vic and the Grand Marquis
