DJ2TRU!! Just big kid with big dreams and almost living them out. I have been Djn for close to 22 years now and I have enjoyed almost ever minute of it. I like energy and good times...fuck that drama shit! Most times, I am a laid back cat with a CORONA and a shot of PATRON in my hand. All buisiness!! From 1991-1997 Dj2Tru has established himself as a DJ to be reckoned with while living in Aomori, Japan (Misawa). Taken under the wing of DJ Atushi (Northern Japans most famous DJ) he grasp a knowledge of what we now call today the GLORY DAYS of Hip Hop evolve into the Japanese culture. From Aomori to Sendai he spent most weekends in and out of clubs, meeting and working with De La Soul, Black Moon, Heltah Skeltah, Mary J. Blige and CeCe Peniston to name a few. Garnered popularity by his unbelieve talent of DJn and speaking Japanese bringing a together the most unconceivable relation between American and Japanese cultures. From 1997-2001, Truman aka Saburou relocated to the DMV aka DC, MD, VA where he furthered his knowledge and talent running the areas most talented DJs (Next Generation DJs-93.9 WKYS,Republic Gardens,The Ritz, DC Live, Club Odds, Platinum) In 2001, Tru relocated back to Japan where he was the premier DJ in the Aomori prefecture. From the base clubs to Garo's, JDraws, B-12, Bao-Bab and Mecca. In 2005, Tru returned to DC and became part of the newly Satellite Radio Dj Crew The Rated X Squad where he still continues ties with the growing crew. In January 2008, you will be able to hear Tru on XM Satellite Channel 67 The City's own The Yard (1Hr Reggae Mixshow) from Japan. In Nov 2007, Tru has once again relocated back to Japan READY TAKE ALL JAPAN BY STORM! Stay tuned for more to come from the true cohort of what real club play is about.....
