About Me

Human feelings were never easy to decipher, especially when they involve someone else. Thoughts and behaviour not always coincide; and what was to be the union of lives can be transformed into throbbing scars.
With this latent thematic at hand, on September 2001 Triarchy was born, with the proposal of conceiving a sound that would engulf an emotional and reflective atmosphere, entwining epic and classical elements to haunting melodies and the traditional depth of Metal.
After a few shows in the town of Fortaleza, where the band achieved praise far greater than originally expected, Triarchy spent a long period of inactivity, due to line-up changes and the difficulty of finding replacements that fit the bands musical intentions. The remaining members focused on the process of song-writing during that time.
When Fall 2004 came, already with a new line-up established, Triarchy enters the studio to record its first offering, the Promo-CD entitled Broken Dreams, containing the tracks "Broken Dreams" and "Emotional Daze", released in April 2005.
The groups current line-up consists of: Juliana Hernandes (vocals), André França (bass/vocals), Yuri Leite (guitar) e Alísio Meneses (drums). Triarchy is currently promoting the Promo-CD Broken Dreams and concluding the process of song-writing to begin recording its first full-length, not yet named, in 2009.
"Sincerely, it's impossible that any label doesn't notice the potential of Triarchy and doesn't study the possibility to offer some support for this band to record and distribute their debut. "Broken Dreams" is a proof that the band is competent enough. And, if, unfortunately any label doesn't think these guys don't fit in their standards of quality, enough to ignore them, I ask Triarchy to have patience because time always show the results for people who don't give up. Congratulations for the great work!" - Whiplash (10/10)
"The second track, "Emotional Daze, sounds similar to the first one, mixing heaviness and melody, but the male vocals appear more often, creating an obscure atmosphere to this track. Labels, give some attention to this promise of brazilian metal" - Paradise Metal
"...Broken Dreams, is nothing but a great mix of gothic and doom, besides of having a recording of great quality. (...) If they keep the same quality of this cd, Triarchy certainly will be one of the greatest brazilian acts of the genre" - NovoMetal
"Both songs are well balanced between atmospheric and metal. There are no guitar solos but at least the guitars deliver some very heavy riffs. Special mentioning must be done for the exceptional production! The sound is too flawless to be considered a demo recording. Fans of Atmospheric Metal must check them out. Ill be expecting their full length album soon!" - Metal-Temple
