About Me

I was born in 1956, in the USSR, in Gorky Region. In my childhood, together with my family I had changed many places of living in many cities, and after all I settled in Konakovo, near Moscow. I was graduated from the musical school, and played guitar in a city band. I listened to the Beatles, Deep Purple, CCR, Led Zeppelin and more….was copying guitar play of Ritchie, Jimmi, Eric…. I left to the army in 1974, and served in Germany (GSVG). While in the army I was playing in the band too. I played mostly cover-versions of DP, LZ. After the army I learnt to play guitar, and in 1977 I begun to play as a professional guitar-player in a philarmonic society, in “Shestero Molodykh” band, then in “Liesya Pesnya!” (together with Rastorguev and Kipelov). In 1977 in Kazan city I played together with V. Vysotsky in a play “Six young men”. Then I was playing in the restaurants in Moscow. After playing during 5 years in the restaurants, I had bored of it, and returned to a bigger scene again. To Alexey Glyzin’s proup. Then I left for Norway and Finland to work together with the other musicians. Upon return back I again worked with Glyzin, played and sang blues in the Moscow clubs with the group “Sound Cake”. In 1996 I left for America with my friends, to New York, where I was playing in the restaurant “Colonial Mansion”. Upon return from America, since 1998, I have been working in a group “LUBE”.
