Current Process in Progress: "Daydreamer Dialogue"

About Me

2002-2007:
The Story Thus Far...
Detroit's PreciseHero is the brand new leaky faucet.
"After the break-up of a group or two I was a member of, I just went off & did my own thing."That was the moment that PreciseHero was born. Using the net and pulling together some resources, an EP called "365" was recorded. Self released in limited quantities.
"Honestly, it wasn't the best or as good as I probably could've done I was still growing into myself but - it showed that I was ambitious and really wanted to do this. Sorta like showing "potential". Thankful for all the dudes that believed in me enough to help me make it though. (Natural Born, Obsidian Blue, & Ej) I've still got a couple copies laying around somewhere.. I'll probably bury em out in the desert next to those E.T. cartridges that Atari made."
Somebody must've thought it was decent enough because a hidden gem entitled "Prefix" from "365" quietly made it's way around. Getting a few spins on local stations & a bit of love from hosts such as D.C. & Origix and Uncle P didn't hurt him either. Afterwards, things slowed down to a screeching halt & Hero faded into the background.
"I was really on the verge of quitting music all together. I was just tired in a lot of ways. It was one of those times in life where a lot was happening, wasn't too interested in music cause I wasn't digging a lot of stuff coming out & such, wasn't motivated to create - my mind really wasn't on that at the time, it was really a lot of things."
Like a leaky faucet, a few creations trickled out between that period whenever inspiration and enough ambition struck, namely the track "Forward". After reciving a positive reaction, Hero still wasn't as eager in writing as he once was until one day:
"Some of my friends talked to me into getting a Myspace page awhile back & I started a music page as well -it appealed to my net geek side, and my music reached many ears - fast forward a bit -- I got a message from Mo & SP about releasing a vinyl. At first I didn't take it serious, thought it was just some random SPAM at first but, turns out they were serious. I didn't even think anybody was checking for me really. Apparently somebody heard "Prefix", I believe it was I.Q. (of the Starving Artist Crew) either on some message board I posted on, on one of the stations, or something like that & took interest in what I do so things kind of went around full circle & played out in a good way. Kinda funny huh?"
Funny didn't describe what happened next. Recording soon started with Hero & SP. Tracks were made and the one that was chosen to be the final cut for the vinyl was called "Range". "Modest Signal" [vinyl-EP] was completed and was distributed in Japan and the UK. Exposing Hero's brand of "cool noise" to a new set of listeners in lots of different regions even touching back in Hero's hometown of Detroit, Mi. So, now what's happening with Hero? It's been about a two years since the release of "Modest Signal" and Hero is obeying his starter tracks "Forward" and doing just that. Hero operates on the "trickling" method which keeps his newly acquired fans dangling from their headphones waiting for more.
"I'm not really chasing anything or have any interest in so-called "blowing up" so I can take more time with what I do. That free-ness allows me to do what I do, how I want to do it. If I can release something I'm happy with and proud of.. that really represents me, gain a few fans/listeners along the way maybe make a few bucks then it's a bonus right? Never know - if things really get good then I won't have to go to my job & punch a clock anymore! Or at least get to travel around a bit - doing what I do, which would be dope!"
Hero's fans are patient because they know when something trickles , it's definitely going to be "cool noise"
