I love Rock and Metal but will listen to just about anything if I am in the mood.
I do not like radio as with all stations they play what the producers like and not what the listeners want as well as over playing the set list till you just don't even want to listen to the good music that they might put on!
I go to gigs when ever possible and have always tended to listen to bands that are unsigned and up and coming or newly signed after years of blood sweat tears and happen to sometimes just have the will to keep going till they get the attention of the right people!
Here are some of my favorite bands.
Most of them I can even call mate but some I have yet to see live but enjoy what I have heard so far!
Most have myspace accounts and all can be found on the other bands link in the links page at
Hudson Hawke is an all time favorite(stupid comedy but you just have to see if the bloke ever gets his bloody cappicinno)12 Monkeys, Steven Kings IT, Gone with the Wind(yes I am a sucker for the historical girlie flick of all time lol) Hide and Seek, Million Dollar Baby, The new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(absolutly better than the original movie) Jabberwockey - any Monty Python really, Natrual Born Killers, Desperado, Kill Bill Parts I & II, (Tarentino Films are just fab) Fight Club, Tomb Raider's, Brother Grimm will I am sure be in this list as well, once again I know I am missing the obvious films but the list is just soooo long
Absolutly love Laurell K Hamilton (the Anita Blake and the Merry Gentry Books) Kim Harrison Kelly Armstrong, MaryJanice Davidson, Richelle Mead, Anything by Anne Rice -the woman is an unbelievable writer. Christopher Rice (Anne's son) has put out a couple books as well that were very good reads. Ben Elton has caught my attention over the last year. I have massively gotten in to Harry Potter Books and read all 6 books that are out within a week and a half. Dan Brown is another new favorite as is Tess Gerritsen, Kathy Riech Christopher Mooney, I also love mediphysical science such as The Celestine Phrophecy, and the books by Paulo Coleho- The Alchamist, and Vornika Decides to Die there are so many others I just haven't had the time to read them yet..
