When I grow up I'm gonna be an adult!!!

About Me

I was born in Lubbock, TX in 1971. My family moved to Houston in February of 1980.

I'm a full-time musician. I enjoy what I do, whether it's selling music equipment, or playing for all the drunks at the local bar. I've been playing since 1982 and in working bands since 1994. My current profect is Lounge 4407. Check out our site and messageboard.

I was divorced in 2000. I enjoy being single but miss having a special someone in my life - A CURVY SPECIAL SOMEONE! In other words ladies, I'm STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING! Why would you want to date me?

I'm a hopeless romantic. It's my downfall, actually. I can send chills (the good kind, not the stalker creepy kind) down your back. You know the kind you tell your girlfriends about. I smell nice - most of the time. I'm good with my hands - hello, I'm a guitar player! Massages are my specialty but only for special ones. I'm a good listener except for that ringing in my ear - what did you say? (Years of standing in front of a loud guitar amp.) I'm compassionate. I'll put the toilet seat down... eventually. I'm funny. My mom laughs at my jokes! I'm trainable. I told you I'd get that seat down! I'm a teddy bear. Just don't deprive me of music, sports, beer, or sex... In no particular order! I'm faithful. Yes, a musician can be faithful.

More about me and my birth month, September

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

I am attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.
In love, I feel the most alive when my lover is creative and never lets me feel bored.
I'd like to my lover to think I'm stylish and alluring.
I'd be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.
My ideal relationship is open - both of us can talk about everything... NO SECRETS!
My risk of cheating is zero.
I care about society and morality.

Music Gear - Instruments, fx pedals (you can never have too many!!!), Marshalls (especially Jubilee series!), Les Pauls (nothing like the sound of a Les Paul through a Marshall!)

Oh yeah... I also like
BOOBIES!!! (*)(*)

Sports Heroes - Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Michael Irvin, Daryl Johnston, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman...
Musicians - Les Paul, Aerosmith, Queensryche, too many more to think of...

Music:

Here's a few things I've recorded over the years... I even sang on a few of these - scary, huh?

The original stuff was recorded in 1995 when I was in a three piece band called Tuff Pork. We had some good times and wrote some decent songs that I think still hold up today.

"All I Need" was recorded in 1999 or 2000 in my apartment. One of these days I'll re-record it... I can do better on the vocals. Since I no longer have the machine I recorded that song on, I'll just have to re-do the guitar part as well. One of these days...

I'll add more stuff as I archive old demo tapes (Aspenglade??? In case anyone still remembers that band!)and even add more of my favorite songs over the years...

If you like what you hear gimme a HELL YEAH... Or send me a YOU SUCK! Either way, just listen to my music once or twice, please!

One hit wonders of the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's - The Cheesier the better!!!
MTV bands like A Flock of Seagulls, The Fixx, J.Geils Band, and more...
Hair bands - Stryper was my fave!
Metal bands - Pre "Black Album" Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax
Cover Bands in Houston and surrounding regions - Rat Ranch, The Velcro Pygmies, The Electric Gypsies, Living Proof
Blues, Jazz, Classical...
Even Country... Yes my guilty pleasure is country music so deal with it!

Movies:

Star Wars - I went to the midnight showing of the first three episodes. I actually enjoyed them all!
The Last American Virgin, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Breakfast Club, and just about anything else cheesy from the 80's.
Crossroads - Not the one with BS but the one with The Karate Kid, Ralph Maccio. Steve Vai was awesome in that movie and it makes me want to practice!
Mystery, Alaska; Slap Shot; Miracle; Remember The Titans; The Replacements
Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Sequels/Prequels
I'll add more when I think of them...

Television:

America's Funniest Home Videos
ESPN (all of them), Spike TV, VH-1 (when they show videos), Mythbusters, any NFL broadcast, any Hockey broadcast.

Books:

I don't read much unless there are pics involved... LOL!Reader's Digest, The Left Behind series, Star Wars Episodes II and III, The Da Vinci Code, The Bible (although not as much as I SHOULD - there's lots of wisdom in that book!), The Bible Code... A few books on Nostradamus...

Heroes:

My parents - Mom and Dad rock.

The brave folks who are serving in our Military all over the world.

Those who deal with all of life's messes - the policemen and women, the firemen, the EMT's. All of these people routinely deal with the worst moments in life, especially now with 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.

Teachers and educators. It's a thankless job but one that is so important.

Anyone who is taking an active role in the life they've created. If you're a parent you'd better live up to your responsibility!
