Your Power Color is Green
You feel most at home in a world of ideas.
You're curious and logical - and enjoy a good intellectual challenge.
You're super cool, calm, and collected. Very little tries your patience.
Your only fear? People not realizing how smart and able you are!
What's Your Power Color?
Get outdoors - get outdoors - get outdoors!!! Grilling; sampling new wines; chilling out after a day at work (I will have NO problem come retirement); expanding my garden; traveling; attending concerts and plays; having friends over to the house; conversation filled with LOTS of laughter; turning strangers into new friends. Keeping people at work guessing - because I'm nothing like that at home. (LOL !!!)
In General: Up to meeting nice, well-read, spoken and educated people. Sexual identity, gender, race, religion does not matter -- as long as you are a decent person. Bytheway, I'm happily coupled, so it's for friendship only :)
Celebs: Bill Cosby, Elton John, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelu, Former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, Suze Orman.
Angels: Ghandi, Mother Teresa, artist Keith Haring.
This is too damn funny!
LIKE FOLDING A TACO -- "What the hell is an inward twist?!? What does that mean? Anyone?" Poor, Ross! I guess he wasn't born with the mechanical gene. "This is like a bra for Dolly Pardon." ROTFLMAO!!!
I have a wide variety of musical tastes, which depends on my mood, time of day, or activity. Among music which I most enjoy (but are not exclusively limited to) include: Depeche Mode, Queen, New Order, Yaz (The Only Way Is Up - the best, uplifting, joyous party song ever!), Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Elton John, The Beatles, The Supremes, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Cher, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Kylie Minogue, John Mayer, Luther Vandross (God rest this gifted artist's blessed soul!), Annie Lennox, Don Henley, Janet Jackson, Queen Latifa, Sarah McLachlan, Sherryl Crow, Bette Midler, Michael Buble (oh, and what a cutie, too!!!); all the way to Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin ... and so many musical ranges in between, including jazz, blues, rock, country, top 40 and classical.
About the only form of music which I do not enjoy as a whole is rap - which often advocates violent behavior against others. (Some rap is okay -- I just DON'T go for calling women whores; killin' yo' neighbor; and other distructive behavior that isn't respectful to life.) Yes, I get it -- I'm just completely against ANY kind of music which fosters negative actions.
You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe
But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated
You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys
Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.
And your dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.
What Kind of Coffee Are You?
Gone with the Wind, The Sound of Music, All That Jazz, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, On Golden Pond, Chicago, and so many others, including those great black and white flicks from the 1940s - Bringing Up Baby, being a favorite of mine, with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. Sordid Lives is a Southern spoof hoot!
While I try NOT to be tempted by television, I enjoy Brothers and Sisters (I predict it to be THE show to watch and catch on by the masses), Ugly Betty (This show has realy grown on me and I love it) and Grey's Anatomy - so don't bother calling me on Sunday or Thursday nights - If you do, I'm not likely to answer the phone. And I thoroughly enjoy Public Television and HGTV. (What can I say? I'm gay ... LOL !!!)
So, so many titles. I'll save some time and space by telling you one of my favorite authors is Maya Angelu. What a poetic and writing genious! And I do like to read (and yes, this isn't a book - get over it) theonion.com. Great satire!
My brothers (well - the one who isn't being an arse at the moment!), my parents, and to those of you who remember to be polite and say, please, thank you and you're welcome. The population in general is neglect in the possessing of manners - a downfall of our society.
