It was in a dark heated studio with banging grooves that someone made the ultimate comment, this dude is The Truth, that you realize that he does bring an electrifying feeling when he drops those crazy joints. He was born into a world of music and would never be able to escape the trappings of this destiny. Wayne Beckford was introduced to entertainment at an early age. His father rubbed shoulders with legendary bands like UB40, Maxi Priest, Bob Marley and many more and it’s during these amazing tours and smoky dungeon studios that Wayne would launch an amazing musical voyage. As an accomplished artist, musician, songwriter and producer, the South London born singer has had his hands full producing successful records for everybody else but himself.From the capital of fashion and wine (Paris), Wayne has put artists like Willy Denzey, Ophelie Winter, Oxmo Puccino, China and many more back on the charts with his compelling productions and this has been the trend for anything he has touched in Europe. Two years ago, he packed up a few bags, stepped on a Continental flight bound for Atlanta and it is at this point that a new hunger was steamed up in grooves kitchen. The American market was the absolute prize and it only made sense to bring the decade long experience to MLK’s backyard, the dirty south. It is in this new challenging market that Beckford teams up with a new group of exciting people. With his new found family of KONVICT music which boasts platinum artists like AKON and T-PAIN, this seasoned entertainer/producer has found a new home where big things seem to be popping.After tutoring and orchestrating many artists careers, the 6’3 vocalist has decided to jump out of his shell to let the world know that a heck of a talent is about to be unleashed. Don’t get it twisted, this aint a one dimentional act, this cat will blow on the mic, jump back and grab the bass guitar and as though that was not enough, he is an accomplished drummer and an amazing vocalist. He carries that stamp that few can boast, "A 100%". The world of music isn’t news to Mr. Beckford. He signed his first major deal with Virgin records with his trio band 9 Yards but went on to focus on a production career that has spun a decade.In his basement studio, you can be rest assured that this master chef is cooking up a spicy hot groove with some extra hot sauce and pepper, colored greens and a heck of a beat.
