About Me

chu_hi is my personal journal. This is the big one. It kinda has too many pictures, so don't try to look at all of them or you'll waste your whole life.
chu_hi_wines is my wine journal, in which I never claim to know what I'm talking about.
chu_hi_reads is my new book journal. There isn't a lot there, but it will grow!
"Nakama" is my stripcreator comic. The concept of nakama has something to do with friends and the people who are close to you. I always interpreted it as "people at work you wouldn't have anything to do with if you didn't work together." Poke me with sharp sticks to continue this saga.
Katoributa.com is my old-fashioned, non-interactive homepage. Not much there, except some silly words from my weird brain, and a heavily spammed guestbook.
I have a FaceBook. Anybody know what I'm supposed to do with it?
I have a Shelfari bookshelf , if you'd like to see what I've been reading.

My Interests

I like board games, foreign alphabets, hot baths, feline beings, human beings. I can listen to the same CD like, 72 times, and not get tired of it. I swim like an octopus. I'm terrible at sports but I just started learning to snowboard, and I go snorkeling every chance I get. I have picnics with my husband a lot. I like camping on the beach, hiking in the woods, and driving in the desert. I love to sing my head off. I've studied Japanese for years and years (even lived there for three of them) but I'm nowhere near fluent. This is probably because I'm not very smart. I take a lot of pictures. I read lots of fiction. I'm interested in religion but don't practice one. My number one hobby is traveling; it's also my job. My job is my hobby - neat, huh? Other interests include eating, drinking, and breathing.

And I love hearing something new for the first time.

Movies:

All Frozen

I think I just figured out where the inspiration for Logan's Run came from. Someone must have been eating a spring roll that was crispy on the outside, but all frozen inside. Try it: take a bite of fr...

Fried Okra for Okra-Haters

Too Much Blah-Blah-Blah *EDIT: New Haircut!

This is going to be a boring entry. I advise against reading it. I decided to cut my hair, and now I'm totally exhilarated by the thought of being free from my silly long hair. I haven't done it yet! ...
