I like board games, foreign alphabets, hot baths, feline beings, human beings. I can listen to the same CD like, 72 times, and not get tired of it. I swim like an octopus. I'm terrible at sports but I just started learning to snowboard, and I go snorkeling every chance I get. I have picnics with my husband a lot. I like camping on the beach, hiking in the woods, and driving in the desert. I love to sing my head off. I've studied Japanese for years and years (even lived there for three of them) but I'm nowhere near fluent. This is probably because I'm not very smart. I take a lot of pictures. I read lots of fiction. I'm interested in religion but don't practice one. My number one hobby is traveling; it's also my job. My job is my hobby - neat, huh? Other interests include eating, drinking, and breathing.
Frank Zappa, Henry Miller, Itami Juzo, Gustave Eiffel, and Elvis Presley.
Kristin Hersh, They Might Be Giants, Frank Zappa, Ulfuls, Love Psychedelico, Ween, Postal Service, Faust, Leonard Cohen, Pixies, Belly, Barenaked Ladies, Phish, Elephant Kashimashi, Erasure, Flaming Lips, Roger Waters, Beatles, and lots of other stuff. And I love hearing something new for the first time.
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, 12 Monkeys, I Heart Huckabees, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich, Tampopo, Mean Girls. I like lots of movies, but those are the ones I seem to be able to watch over and over and over...
