Escapist Records is a new entity in the music world. It is a one man operation, but it wouldn't be possible without the help of outstanding friends within the hardcore and punk music scenes and beyond. With this label I intend on releasing music by underground artists deserving of attention. There will be no genre boundaries with Escapist Records. My mission is to release good music from bands of all styles - end of story.
ER-001: Harder They Fall: A Tribute to Integrity Twenty-one hardcore bands from across the globe pay homage to the highly influential Cleveland hardcore outfit.
ER-002: Changing Face - Our Last Chance Seven-song EP that will please anyone who enjoys energetic and aggressive hardcore with sincere lyrics. If you enjoy First Blood, Death Threat, Knuckledust, or Figure Four this CD is for you.
ER-003: Robot Eyes - Arrêt Debut full-length from this Oregon outfit. Melodic-punk with indie rock and pop-punk influences for fans of Saves the Day, Fairweather, and The Get Up Kids.
ER-004: This Time Next Year - A Place For You Pop-punk/power-pop from Walnut Creek, CA that will please fans of New Found Glory, Hit the Lights, Blink 182, and Daggermouth.
ER-005: Love, Hope And Fear - Fate's Frowned on Us A four-song 7" of fast-paced hardcore punk for fans of American Nightmare, The Suicide File, This Is Hell, and early A.F.I. Features original artwork by Curt Baer of Set it Straight. The 7" is available on four colors (plus black).
ER-006: No Truce / Crucified - Split Two of California’s most promising hardcore bands team up for a split CD/Digital EP. No Truce hail from Salinas, CA and deliver a punishing blend of metal-tinged hardcore with influences ranging from Buried Alive, Madball, Integrity, and Sick of it All. Crucified call the North Bay of CA home and draw influence from All Out War, Merauder, and Ringworm as they unleash blistering metallic hardcore.
