ABOUT MOURNING AFTER
Forming in the summer of 2004, Mourning After was born in the small border town of Del Rio, Texas. After playing locally and getting a solid fan base in their hometown, the band decided it was time for something new, something greater. The struggle for exposure in a small town led us to the great city that we now call home, Austin, Texas.
After a couple of years without any recordings, we finally booked some studio time and recorded a 6-song demo with Producer/engineer Jason Sewell, at Nebulost Productions in Austin, Texas. We continue to write music, and we will be hitting the studio again as soon as we finish the new material. This time, we will be going to the studio with the goal of completing an entire album, hopefully to be self-released sometime in the near future.
We take pride in our live performance. If you like what you hear on our recordings, we promise you will love our live shows even better, so come to a show, hang out with us, and show some love!
