My Interests

Let's see.. what have I been doing with my life..

    Was born in Atlantic City, NJ. Attended Catholic school for 11+ years. Attended an all boys high school for 2.5 years. Bowled thousands (yes that is fairly accurate) of games at my family's bowling center from the age of 5 until I was 16. Started riding a skateboard when I was 7 Started writing computer programs when I was 10 Moved to Myrtle Beach when I was 16. Was arrested for Skateboarding down waterslides in Myrtle Beach 3 weeks after I got there :-) Attended Coastal Carolina University for 4 years and got a B.S. in Computer Science. Skateboarded with the Santa Cruz skate team in a demo in Myrtle Beach at my local skatepark. Got to skate with the Toy Machine skateboard team at a demo in Columbia, SC. Was at LOVE Park when Brian Wenning pulled a Switch Backside 180 down the fountain. Worked at a skatepark. Worked in various surf shops. Got to go to Eastern Skate Supply in Wilmington, NC and met with Reggie Barnes. I've smoked with Rastas, the Jahsouljahs to be more precise ;-) Skated with various pros in Philly and DC. Grew up skating with Devon Connell, Steve Durante, and Shag in the NorthEast. Grew up skating with Chris Perkins, Jason Whittenberg, Travis McElreath, Ron Lodzinski, Rico, Ricky Ray, Cal Smeraldo, Matt Yelle, Dylan (aka Pierre), Tyler Huff, etc.. in the SouthEast. Learned frontside rocks in Brooksville, along with pop shove-it tailgrabs. Worked for some major defense contractors since 2002 including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, SAIC, Raytheon, ITT, etc working on various software systems for the U.S. Military. Skated San Francisco, Sacramento, Santa Monica, and Venice Beach with my friends. Got a half page pic in Thrasher Magazine (Jan 2008 issue) skating some abstract obstacle in Baghdad, Iraq and talk to the Publisher of the magazine often. I skated inside one of Saddam's palaces in Iraq. I have played poker with an Iraqi Colonel. Flown in helicopters over the city of Baghdad. Been to old Jerusalem and walked down the Via Del Rosa in Israel. Former Altar Boy. Kissed the Slab that Jesus was laid upon when he died. Walked along the Beaches of Tel-Aviv. Drank with Israeli soldiers. Been hit on by Israeli women soldiers. Worked the biggest exercise in the Military preparing soldiers getting ready to go to Iraq. Ran 6 miles a day for a week straight with a U.S. Colonel - he made me do it! Lived in Germany for 2 years. Was awarded a coin from a U.S. General who is now serving in Iraq. Worked in Baghdad, Iraq for over a year across 4 different companies on 4 different software projects. Competed in a skateboarding competition in Germany when I was 27, skating with some of Europe's finest. Have had drunken conversations in German. Was a Latin Tutor at my university for 2 years. Cashed in the first and only PBA Regional Tournament I bowled in back in 2005, while bowling with the one and only Tommy DeLutz Jr. (Touring Pro). Bowled on the European Professional tour in various countries - Luxembourg, Sweden, Germany, Greece, and the Netherlands to name a few. I have smoked authentic Cuban cigars. Attended a practice round of the Masters in Augusta, GA and got to see Tiger Woods practicing on the course. Met the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback, Derek Anderson, on my 29th Birthday Currently own a townhouse and family house in Myrtle Beach, SC. Had a bullet fly over my head, once. Seen Oliver North in person. Seen all kinds of various bands from The Roots (3 times in Myrtle Beach), Duran Duran, GWAR, Powerman 5000, 311, and so on... Saw a live rap concert in Baghdad, Iraq. Snowboarded in the hills of Austria. Been to Busch Gardens, Hershey Park, and Europa Park and rode on the Silver Star. Studied and help translate ancient and undeciphered Latin texts. Have written lexical analyzers and parsers. Written complex programs that have been used military-wide. Worked with soldiers from all branches of the Military - ARMY, Air Force, Navy, and Marines. Outdrank some Brits (not an easy task). Am friends with actresses and models :-) Had a drink at the New York Bar in Tokyo, Japan - the Bar that Bill Murray was filmed at in "Lost in Translation". I have eaten real Kobe beef in Kobe, Japan. I have strolled down Geisha Row. I've partied with the FBI. Been to the Castle in Heidelberg, Germany more times than I can remember now. I still see friends from my childhood. I have friends all over the world! I saved someone's life once.
