When I first saw Jewel's video for "who will save your soul" I was instantly drawn to her voice, her style. My parents got me a guitar the following Christmas. I immediately began to write. Love songs mostly, because at 14 I knew everything about love, of course. I began performing in Connecticut at various coffee houses. I worked my way up (with age) to the bar and club circuit, and now I'm happily living in NYC. I have found so much inspiration here and my writing is ever changing. However, I've always paid very close attention to my lyrics. I want people to really listen to the story I am telling. All of my songs have so much meaning that can be taken in a lot of different ways. I hope to give people something they can connect to.
