Be the person you would like to have as a friend

About Me

Too old to really be on this site but my daughter talked me into it. Most people think I'm a fruitloop because I am proud to wear flannel leopard jammies and fuzzy animal slippers at 40+. I am a fairly creative person. I love creating jewelry (most of it goes to my daughter) I sell beads & jewelry related items on ebay. I'm mostly a night owl, my husband works a graveyard shift so it works out best that way. My kids and my friends tell me I have a unique sense of humor, that and at times I'm clumsy. Hmmm, maybe thats what makes them laugh ;-) Great source for 2 hole slider beads and unique findings.

My Interests

My Family, Creating Anything (currently jewelry), Music (mostly country) Here's a few pictures relating to my interests Click the banner to check out my online store.Great source for 2 hole slider beads and unique findings.

I'd like to meet:

God, but not for at least 50 years

Music:

Mostly Country, Trace Adkins (heavy sigh) and anything with good lyrics, guitar and beat, I listen to a large variety of music though, Raul Malo, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, Sara Evans, Bob Seger, Foghat, Peter Frampton, Three Dog Night (no use hiding my age, lol)

Movies:

Forest Gump is probably my all time favorite, first movie I saw in a drive in was Billy Jack, now have it on video, if you have to ask you are very young. I like a large variety of movies as long as I dont have to think too much, movies are for fun.

Television:

House, any CSI type show including Numbers and Criminal Minds. I roll on the floor laughing at "My Name Is Earl". I never thought I would like it but I tried it for Ken and was very surprised. Its not high brow by any means but it does give you a good laugh. I also watch Judge Joe Brown & Judge Judy, they make me feel more normal. I also enjoy PBS (music, animal documentaries, travel, home improvement, Antiques Roadshow, but nothing that will actually pollute my mind)

Books:

Dictionary (its the only book I read regularly, lol) Do bead magazines and catalogues count?

Heroes:

My Daughter & My Son (those are the only I know personaly)

DIY Tip: More Life Out Of Worn Out Cutting Tools

Embarrassing vs. Proud

My very beautiful daughter posted a bulletin thinking I was trying to embarrass her.  Well, I would if the moment was right and the little stinker would do the same to me in a heart beat.  A...
