Crimeline has been together for the past 5 years putting a extensive song catalog together. The group also operate one of the most respected indie recording labels in the southeast region "Nex-N-Line Records". The group hails from the Newport News(Bad News)/Hampton(HPT) area of Virginia.Group members Grandson and Uncle J. are both staff producers and own and operate "Buck Music Prod." Big Tex is the third member of the group often called the glue.In a time when mostly all of the music on urban radio sounds the same, Crimeline is still able to bring a fresh sound that moves and motivates the hood and the suburbs.The Virginia music scene is likely to be the next big movement in hip-hop, and Crimeline has a sound that most feel is the true Va. sound.Moving numerous mixtapes and street released LP's Crimeline has been able to keep their music fresh on the mind, and heart's of their fans. "Half way through the album everybody was strarting to think we were making a classic". "I remember the day Q.S (of Team Trilogy) brought the beat for "Did they know" by Pipeline Studio and, me,uncle J, and Tex went crazy, like nigga this is the SHIT".Grandson continues "That was the first beat he even played,and I made the hook in like two minutes or something,but that was when I felt like we where forming a Lakers dynasty or some shit, real talk!" Still Grandson knows that after this one people are going to try to find any flaw possible in their Masterpiece. "I know haters are about to line up, thats why uncle J's album (Tha Guttament) is coming in a couple months, just to show cats that we are about to dominate and we are going to be consistant". Grandson responds. "They are all on notice now, like a rap eviction or something" He laughs "Like nigga get out of the game,you holding up space and shit". Grandson also has a message for record execs. "I know yall watching,so get yall check books ready" He says. "Cause yall created this monster,passing our shit for that wack shit out there now, I aint naming no names you know who you are" he laughs. "But real talk homeboy I know you gotta grind that is why we stopped shopping our shit and just prepared to release this Dope!" He continues. "Cause all A&R's do now is look for sure shots,they don't have time or money to waste trying to make an artist, that is why we aint stopping, We are even planning my solo release after Tha Guttament (Uncle J's album),this will definetly be our breakout year Fam" Crimeline is looking forward to doing some touring this summer for the Album.Crimeline has performed on the same stage as Kanye West, Rell, Allen Anthony,B rich, any many more.
