Since the very end of year 2007, I've been repeating to myself that 2008 will be mine and I would be making drastic changes. Though in mind, I thought that these changes were going to be just with music but other things lead to me making changes with myself as an individual and as an artist. They are trials and tribulations that I would learn from to make me a stronger person in the long run. I've been through constant doubts, and discouragements with me and music that I slowly became close to giving up. I had a horrible jump start the week after new years and at the same time I lost a couple valuable things over the course of the past few months. But even though all that happened I kept repeating to myself "2008 is yours," over and over to regain confidence and continue to do what I do. If it wasn't for my best friend Kevin, I would've never known I would be able to demonstrate a hidden talent that could lead to something bigger each year I make a demo or an album or whatever. Who knows what I would've been doing today. Angels must be watching me or something because even though sometimes I let myself get buried under the dirt, something or someone seems to keep picking me up and pushing me to go on. And I think I'm starting to realize where exactly I'm going to end up. This new album THE OVERLOAD started off as a study to test my skills in harmonization, and ended up with each song having a story behind it. I can't help it, my life is in the music, my soul is in the music, and music is my first love and the only remedy that can allow me to demolish any barrier that suppresses me into any screwed up state. My art work allows me to explore different unusual things to let my mind flow until I'm ready to come back to reality equipped with a new strategy to handle things. I'm blessed to be able to arrange this tour that I'm calling REWIRED. A show that I hope you all will enjoy.
