Joseph Balogun aka "Manifess", was born in Beckley, West Virginia on July 23rd, 1988. As a young child, Manifess was introduced to hip-hop and was soon after brainwashed by the metaphorical lyrics that rappers were smoothly letting glide out of their mouth, and the addicting,head-bobbing beats. In school Manifess would always get in trouble for making beats on his desk. He later developed a skill for creative writting that has taken him far lyrically and allowed him to say what he feel in rythemic form. In 2001 Manifess met Adam Wasserman,which introduced him to recording and developing a style that was more appealing. He stayed in the lab working on track after track, and dropping mixtapes to get his name out. Then he ran into a producer that was in a band called "Anevis" Byron Seller, which gave him more exposure, and production knowledge to get him to where he is today.
