Ready Steady Go!

About Me

Ready Steady Go! is a five piece band hailing from the Washington, DC area. Featuring ska veterans from bands such as the Ratchet Boys, Woody the Fish, the psychobilly band the Alphabet Bombers; the RSG! brings you the tight fusion of ska with a dose of Elvis Costello and Two-tone influences. Current members of the band also play in local rock n roll acts such as Thee Lexinton Arrows and Geisha Lightening, and the big country sounds of Cowboy Amnesia.
In just a couple years RSG! has shared the stage with bands such as King Django, Dr. Ring Ding, the Pietasters, Eastern Standard Time, The Aggrolites, Go Jimmy Go, Shakedowns, Gamma Rays, Goons, Coolie Ranx, 2 1/2 White Guys, The All Mighty Senators, Las Cabriolas, Westbound Train, Mass Hysteria, Avoid One Thing, The Afterbeat, The Alphabet Bombers, Hub City Stompers, The Players, Val Yumm, Springfields, Five Maseratis, Los Hermanos Rodriguez, Latchkey, The Liberation, The Homeowners, Die Cheerleader Die, Overprivileged, The Screws, Charley Horse, Big Daddy Chrome, Plan Nine USA, Queen Anne's Revenge, High School Hellcats, TMLE, The Noelles, Bowlcuts, Booboise, Oskama Bin Laden and the Jihad Jammers, MKH, No Talent Show and many more.
