OUR HAUS is a brand spanking new party which launched at THE FLYING DUCK in Glasgow last Saturday.Thanks to all the great house guests who came, danced, ate, dressed up, played twister etc....We had a blast!! The hostess' feather duster is now 'feather-less' thanks to all that 'people dusting'. For those peeps that didn't make it along. Our Haus is set in the basement of an old tenement house, yes - it's a REAL HOUSE, complete with a kitchen for chillin' and a living room for dancin'. It takes the best bits of an after-party and mixes them with the best bits of a club - DJs play all night long, sometimes bands will turn up and jam, you never run out of booze, toilet rolls or glasses, there are no randoms just like-minded guests, the neds will never find it and the police can't tell you to turn the music off.Guest musical hosts are asked to play a two tiered set - mixing up the tunes they would perhaps only play at home with the beats that they drop to keep the dancefloor full all night at a club.SALON BORIS are on hand this month (FRIDAY 19 OCTOBER) playing both a LIVE set and then taking to the decks for a Scots/Estonian DJ revolution. Madame S (Utter Gutter) and the sweetest duo of em all, PICK 'N' MIX (she picks, he mixes and vice versa) complete the host line-up. PARTY GAMES provided for ALL guests plus TOAST for the hungry at 1.30am from the kitchen. ALSO, OUR HAUS encourages guests to bring along their OLD CLOTHES FOR SWAPPING for the DRESS UP RAIL in the kitchen. ALL the outfits went home with new owners on Saturday.
