It's official - I've got it all
My name is Lady Munter, and I'm a fabulous, wonderful individual, sweetie...

I run a homo-electro tranny freakshow called VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. Whilst most niche clubs are a bit like periods in that they come once a month, ours is more like an anorexic's period - infrequent and messy. Eating's cheating! Size zero hero bbz!! We always have fun. In fact we have a BALL, and the next one is a joint effort with GLASGAY!:
Hosted by alpha bitch Lady Munter and in association with Glasgay! 2008, HOUSE OF VALLEY brings a vogue ball to Glasgow for the first time ever! Join us for a catwalk competition like no other. Watch or join in - you are invited to dress up walk in your chosen category and house, and each house can vogue off against the members of the other houses, with the winner taking home some exclusive, 'money-can't-buy' prizes which are so hot that they'll be announced on the night!
The categories are as follows:
Femme Realness - for the most convincingly feminine looking individuals.
Slaggy Fag - the sluttiest, sleaziest looks you can con-cock'd.
Pigs in Wigs - drag virgin? More Arthur than Martha? Hiya babez!!
Rude Boiz - hyper-machismo, however you wanna dress it up.
Chic Freak - androgynous outsider? Club Kid? Leigh Bowery wannabe? This is for you!
DJs Gregor Laird & Kid Zipper and a VIP Judging Panel.
Dressing rooms are available. EVERYONE is welcome to participate - yes, even heterosexuals! - from drag queens, trannies, cross-dressers, fashionistas, bears, jocks, club kids - whoeva! If you think you’re fierce enough, nay, SAVAGE enough to walk, email
[email protected]
or click on www.glasgay.com to purchase tickets.
You’d better work, bitch!
SATURDAY 25TH OCTOBER 8PM to 1AM SLOANS GRAND BALLROOM (off Buchanan Street, down the alley next to Zara).

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

More nice journalists like these fine folks:

“Glammed-up, dragnificent, and quite possibly various shades of frightening, the trans-anarchic clubnight returns. Wear a nice frock, and thick skin.” -- Skinny Magazine.

“Billed as Glasgow's "only dedicated drag and tranny night", Valley Of The Dolls is an anything-but-mainstream club. Many of those arriving take their fashion direction from the late Australian performance artist Leigh Bowery the fiercer the clothes the better; the same goes for make-up and hair. Animal horns protrude from the shoulders of the DJ's leopard- skin coat; braces and Trilby hats bounce around beside Vivienne Westwood skirts. One man in a diminutive purple dress, with army boots and a hairy chest, orders his pint at the bar, content. It is, one imagines, the kind of place Ray Davies might have visited before writing Lola.” -- Sunday Herald.

“Transvestite teasers entertain the audience…” - The Sun.

“Pose, pout and totally wig-out!” -- Evening Times' Times Out
.

"Glasgow's gay scene is bigger than ever and potential party-goers will be tickled pink with the range of activities on offer...If you like more of dedicated drag and cross dressing then regular travelling club night Valley of the Dolls may also be up your street." -- Daily Record's Glasgow City Living Guide, Winter 07/Spring 08
