so here's the story of how this came to be:
i (josh) was playing in a band in the town where i went to college. i told the other guys that we needed to get rid of the singer that was playing with us so we did. then one day while john (the other guy i was in the band with) was eating in a campus dining hall he saw caleb. knowing nothing about caleb he walked up to him and asked if he played guitar, and it just so happened he did. that night caleb came over to johns house. the date was 11-15-20-02. caleb and i instantly bonded because we both owned the same get up kids hoodie and quickley became best friends. we then realized that we wanted to branch out from what we were doing and start our own thing. the idea was for us to both play acoustic guitar but soon we realized we wanted to play shows and needed a drummer. so i picked up the drumsticks again and we played our first show as a band called the saddest summer in late april of 2003. we had 2 guys fill in on bass for a while before jimmy and aaron from another local band began playing with us while caleb played in their band.
