About Me

I'm 25, married with a daughter, Muslim and fairly happy. I am a dyed in the wool asiaphile. I love anime and gungfu flicks and movies about asian history and jpop and korean rap. I love the traditional clothes of most of asia and some parts of south east asia. I love the food (oh the food!) and the traditional architecture and the music. I love the operas. However...I can NOT stand bollywood movies. I just can't get into them. If I could find a way to wear a Hakama & Kataginu, Ao Dai, a Han-Bok or a Cheongsam (to name a few) without looking like a complete poser I would lol.

I was born and raised on the east side of Detroit. Graduated KING high school class of 99. Attended Grand Valley State University for a hot minute. Left there (for several reasons). Eventually became Muslim (June 5, 2002 mash'allah) and got married to the most wonderful man I could hope for .
