About Me

Wasi was born in Kingston JA raised in Philly PA and been residing in Miami FLA since the middle of 96. He's affilaited with many of Miami's up and coming local talent. Together with his group Streetlightpoets (SLP) they've released several projects that earned them a great level of respect and local notarioty. Wasi's first solo release "Sincerely yours" added more fuel to the fire. His passion and sincerity reflects in every song from begining to end. Unfortunately due to legal matters and a short term incarceration he was unable to push this project to its maximum abilty. Many felt that "Sincerely yours" should and would have been his break through marker. Now with all his legal problems behind him and two beautiful baby boys to keep him focused and motivated on reaching his goals, he's vowed to give up his past lifestyle and walk the straight and narrow. However still very much "street" his past still reflects in his music today.
