About Me

History of Political Prisoner Khalfani Malik Khaldun:
Khalfani has been in prison for 20 years. After an Indiana prison disturbance on December 13, 1994, in which a prison guard was stabbed and died later in the hospital, Khalfani was snatched up and transferred to a Supermax prison and charged for the murder 6 ½ years later. His original sentence was 25 years, half of which was completed on July 27, 2000. He was held to stand trial and later found guilty by an all-white jury. Khalfani declared then, as he does now, his innocence. He was a target then by prisoncrats, and is even more so today. He needs massive support to vindicate himself from this trumped up charge. Handbook On Surviving Solitary Confinement

"Today's re-awakening"

Today I sat alone reflecting on my life
My Journey has been long, and for all the battles
That have come my way...
I've fought a good and exhausting fight...

So many changes. Most of them out of my control
Each day a new story as my memory unfolds...

There have been alot of good times; bad ones too!
But life is never easy, and if you think that it is
Then you haven't got a clue...

Today my soul trembled. There was a stirring
Inside of my bones
I am certain that it was my own re-awakening
Then, like that, the feeling was gone.

I realize there is a bigger mission for me;
I may never understand the call.
Until I am completely free...
Free from bondage, dependence, and all vices
That bend my being to them.
Right now total liberation represents today's re-awakening
for me, somehow...

"Uhuru-Sasa" Freedom now- Forever!
