Houston ABC

About Me

A small collective of prison abolitionists dedicated to supporting political prisoners. We're from Houston. Texas.

We run a pamphlet to prisoners program, sending free literature to prisoners in 13 Southern states; TX, LA, AL, MS, GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, KY, AR, MO, OK. We request volunteer support to help us fill the requests we receive from incarcerate folks. To see our catalog click here
We also publish a bi-annual newspaper called “Captive Voices”. It is edited by a Texas prisoner; he accepts articles, essays, and artwork from prisoners around the world, and compiles the ones he selects. He then sends us the original, which we copy and mail to prisoners, free of charge. It is made by prisoners, for prisoners, often about prisons. It is an important, and empowering, project for everyone involved.
