PRODUCTION
Rex Dasteppa is the brainchild of Atlanta based producer/dj Lorin Wade. The Rex Dasteppa sound focuses on deep, funky, tech-edged breakbeats manipulated for the bigroom dancefloors. Lorin has been locked away in the studio for the better part of the last year workin on new material for his soon to launch Base Industry Records. With a catalogue of over 20 songs & remixes, Lorin's Rex daSteppa project will kick off the label. Currently getting radio and club support from the top DJs of Breaks FM , like DJ REL1, BRIO, and ERIC ZEBEDEE; Rex daSteppa is one project to listen and look out for.
The DISC JOCKEY
As a fixture of the southeast club scene for over 16 years, Lorin has a distinct and diverse djing style that pulls from all genres of music. He has held many residencies over the years at some of the South's most prestigious nightclubs such as the MushRoom and Park Elevator in North Carolina, the Edge, Velocity, Metro, Euphoria, and the Underground @ 17South in Florida and Level 3, Velvet Room, Nomenclature, and Trinity in Atlanta.
Lorin's versatility as a dj has given him the opportunity to open for and share the stage over the years with a who's who of electronic artists and Djs including:
