Sarah Ling

Jazz and Classical Saxophonist

About Me

I come from a very musical family and I've been playing piano, cello, sax and singing since I can remember just about, reaching grade 8 in all of them. Sax is my first instrument, and I've been playing jazz for about 2 years now. I am classically trained so I love classical music as well as jazz, big band, funk and choral music, as I was a chorister for 5 years. I've just finished school and am about to go into a gap year, the first few months of which I will be spending at Trinity College of Music, studying jazz saxophone. I hope to continue playing all of my instruments to a high level and therefore there will be a large variety in my music...at the moment on my page you can listen to a close harmony vocal tune which I transcribed from the original Imogen Heap album, performed, recorded and edited as well as a few live recordings from a recital I did in my last year at school. Thanks for looking at my page, hopefully I'll upload some more stuff soon!
