The Reality is that there are TWO ways of relating in this world: one is agressive, teasing, competitive, the other is supporting, sensitive, and giving. We need both to communicate, both to survive.Whatever happened to compassion? It still exists, but you need to pay attention to the timing and moods of others. If they are in a 'combative' mode, don't look for compassion. . If they are feeling in a loving, caring mood, then that's your time to join in and share.But this whole business of 'sensitive' people trying to force 'combative' people into THEIR preferred mthod of relating and communicating is just another power play that does not work and is a waste of time. You wait to find people who are currently expressing the preferred method you need to communicate with. Don't expect others to automatically bow down to your command and automatically switch to 'sensitive' method of relating whenever you feel like it.And please, do not get upset if some people don't like your style. You just can't always have it your way all the time.
