About Me

Lara Jacobs was born 1982 in Switzerland.Her
parents own the dance theater www.rigolo.ch
she started touring early, with 6 yers she already
had a part in a show.
with 16 Lara started profesional dance school,
dance loft Switzerland and after Alvin Ailey
School NYC.
She stayed there and opened her own business
on 43street Timesquare with her partner Joanna
Hughes.
Together they organised fashion shows for up
and coming designers, choreographed full lenght
shows, designed costumes, thought dance classes,
started a party label in NYC, promotions with
their 30 models for dos equis, elephant advertising,
bonita fashion and many more.
Also Lara performed at the world famous celebraty
club The Box, NYC, with them she traveled to
Istanbul, for the opening of singer Joss Stone .
August 2007 the 25 year old moved back to
Switzerland.
Lara stuyied dervishes with dervish master Zyia
Azazi from Istanbul and dances a solo piece in
www.rigolo.ch World tour 2008 and teaches several
dance classes.
