About Me

Adrien is musically challenging. What genre does she belong to? She resists the urge to be placed in one, though she will admit that her music has soul, latin, and rock influences throughout. She also likes 70’s style funk, Motown, and 50’s ballads. Add that to the fact that she loves to sing classic jazz pieces a la Ella or Nina or Etta or Billie.
Though Adrien has just begun to learn how to produce music only recently (she helped mix her terrible demos), she’s been playing the guitar since 12 years old and the piano since she was seven. She highly admires female composers and producers such as Bjork and Bic Runga and hopes to see the day when there will be many more of their kind in the music industry.
Regardless of what genre you might place her as, Adrien does not particularly care. She just wants to make music and she knows that someone out there will like it. Hopefully it’s someone in the LA or OC so they can go to her shows. Although she herself would travel far and wide to hear a band she really likes!
Feel free to drop her a message about her music. Don’t bother talking about the quality of the recordings. She knows they suck.

Gigs galore

I've only been in San Diego for a month, but I've already played 3 gigs! Not bad, eh? I've also written almost 30 songs. Granted, most of them are terrible, but some are pretty decent. All I need is a...
