History, fantasy, non-fiction (subjects like Pirates, the Occult, "The Golden Era" - modern and ancient, Myth and Magick, etc. ad infinitum), traveling, movies, collecting vintage clothes (Helping to bring back the Fedora... one head at a time!), swords, Elven lore, swing dance, intelligent conversationalists, art, museums, artists, seekers, environmental consciousness, pleasure and the pursuit of happiness.
The creative and intelligent. Those who follow their visions and dreams. People in constant quest for joy. Optimists with a sense of play. Painters, poets, writers, actors, sculptors, etc. and not necessarily in that order. Teachers and fellow students. Those who are not afraid to really communicate - that doesn't mean "blunt," but true to their heart communication. Sensitivity and compassion spiced with generous doses of empathy is a wonderful thing. People with a sense of humor and objectivity to at least look at both sides of the coin. Loyal, trustworthy and open-minded people who can also have as much fun with the dark side as with the light. But don't bother trying to add me if you don't have the time to write something about yourself first. Doing that means that I will most likely just delete you.

When I watched more television, I admit to being a Buffy freak. I also enjoyed Angel. I love most of the stuff on the History Channel (and I do a ton of the voices on "The Color of War" series, and I play the lead in the recent "The Battle of Tripoli" - It debuted on September 19, 2004), I love the Simpsons, I love Dexter's Laboratory and the PowerPuff Girls, Kim Possible (she's a babe!)... that's all I can drum up from the recesses of my mind right now.
Favorite authors are H.P. Lovecraft, Raymond Chandler, Ross MacDonald, William Butler Yeats, J.K. Rowling, William Gibson, Arthur Conan Doyle, Sabatini, and folks of their ilk. I'm rather fond of books about the supernatural, magick, pirates, Celtic myth, genealogy, etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
Cu Chulain, Finn McCool and the Fianna, Rob Roy, William Eaton, William Wallace, (can you tell I'm a bit of a Celtophile?), Beowulf, Sir Gawain, Ghandi, The Dalai Lama. (Mom and Dad goes without saying!)^..^ I am Strength
Strength represents patience and compassion. Getting angry is easy when events turn sour, but dealing calmly with frustration takes great strength. So does accepting others and forgiving mistakes. We need strength to mold situations softly. The Chariot controls through mastery and authority. Card 8 is more subtle, even loving. Notice how the lion (itself a symbol of strength) is being guided and tamed by the woman's gentle hands.
