Oct 20/21: Folk life Festival, downtown Hannibal, on Main St. We will be having a Food Both, to raise money for the shelter.
Beginning in Nov: Adoption Events at PetsMart in Wentzville, Every 4th Saturday of every month!
Dec 8/9: Santa Claws at PetsMart in Wentzville!
VOLUNTEERS AND ADOPTERS
We have many volunteer opportunities. You can either work at the shelter helping clean, or you can help the animals directly by socializing or training them. Some just need a good bath or a brushing!
If you can't or would prefer not to work at the shelter, you can still help with events such as fundraisers - these are very important!

We are also collecting old ink jet cartages, drink pouches and old cell phones, for money as well. You can drop them off at are shelter, or mail them into us.

Hi,
Well a week has passed and so far everything’s been
great. He's a great little dog and everywhere we go
he's a hit. He even loves the vet and groomer! I
can't thank you enough for all your help in getting
him here. We love Ewing so much and are so happy he's with us now. I've attached some pictures to show just how different he looks now since his haircut. We never realized just how small his body was under all that hair! Again thanks for all your help in getting him here. We are so happy with him.Sincerely,

While out jogging tonight with my Zoey, I ran into Tia with her new family out for a walk. (Jan see picture of her attached, Tia reminds me of Zoey in her younger days!) She is perfect! A few accidents in the house here and there but that is to be expected. They are working on basic commands with her already and she walks GREAT on a leash! She has a vet appointment tomorrow also.
Thanks for all you did this weekend to get her up to us, I appreciate it.
