Tin Leaves (formerly A Choir Silence) are an indie rock band who approach songwriting much like storytelling. Each work sings its tale of woe or triumph through intricate composition and poetic wordplay, with infectious melody coloring the pages. Inspired by a wealth of musical influences, Tin Leaves manages to successfully blend elements of classical, ragtime, folk and sixties pop to create a sound that is both unique and appealing.

Press:
"The first time I ever heard them, the band was described to me as 'Lancaster’s Bright Eyes'...To my ears, they are closer to Lancaster’s version of The Shins. That’s a hefty compliment, and needs to be taken in context. But still, the band’s ability to scotch-tape together an endless stream of pop hooks yet remain completely and utterly left of center is far more 'Garden State' than Saddle Creek."
~ Fly Magazine
"Good natured and upbeat, giving one the feeling that they are going on a trolley ride to happy land."
~ Perry Farrell (of Jane's Addiction & Porno For Pyros)
