Don't really know what to write here, I guess I'll start with the typical I'm a 20 year old girl from southern Rhode Island. I'm outta the Ocean State most of the year tho, coz I'm at school in North Adams, MA, a junior at MCLA. I'm too good for my own good. I miss Rhody like woah, but I come home now and again for shows and such The local music here isn't that great, but I deal. I'm a breath of fresh air, a bright red sweatshirt in a sea of abercrombie and fitch. I color in coloring books and run screaming down the middle of four lane streets in the wee hours of the morning. I lay on the sidewalk and stare at the stars, or the clouds, or the sky. I shout and sing and dance in public places. I dance like no one is watching. I act like a nut because it makes me feel alive and I don't want to be dead yet, I'm only 20. Don't say you're going to do something and then just not do it. If you want to travel, or write, or perform, or do whatever your little heart desires, don't plan and plan and plan, just get up and go for it. If you wanna chill, and you live either near North Adams MA or anywhere in RI then hit me up. If you don't wanna chill, well then, that's your problem. I just may be your favorite person you'll never meet.
I live music and breathe poetry. You're probably better than me on guitar, and better than me as a poet. But I don't care. I love what I do. Music is my life. I want to make a living on my poetry someday, maybe working my guitar into it. I tried putting "spoken word artist" in as a network thing, but couldn't. But hey, I guess this is as good a place as any. If you think you can help me out with this, let me know!
