What We’re All About

The Inches is not a band of little kids, or post teenagers. The fact that a person in his 50s is still looking for a good party is proof of how much the world has changed. And no, the guys are not 50!! The Rock and Pop world( ask fat boy slim!) is similar to a school, where you graduate after doing a long skint, and learning that the real thing is not just in the school books, or in the brown lunch bag prepared from mum, but very close to the formation of "real" rock or Pop band.Maturity is achieved on the road, in rehearsal rooms, not around a table of executives. Far from it!, Things like choosing the wrong people around you, and getting in every type of trouble, from a bad venue, that is more appropriated for retirees, or pool table chats, and killer gangs, than for a band to perform, or signing a contract with a hysteric mutant, that can be compared to sycophantic school teachers, or the nurse from the classic: "one flew over the cuckoos nest". That can easily destroy the life of the band altogether!The Inches have gone trough a cave full of lions, but also encountering amazing people, that held the respiratory apparatus for them in times of despair and confusion. The Inches are more mature, more rehearsed, more angry and happy all at the same time! And with all the above, The Inches are not a causality of the industry! Quite the opposite! Instead of being victims, they took what they were given as "bait" to school of fish! From free trips and paid hotel rooms, rancid parties, to the tedious backlash of celebrity hunters!The inches are releasing not an album (that concept is obsolete) but a collection of tracks, and a new national tour. Hey! Don’t forget: "Fuck the Ksâ€¦ Embrace The Inches!"

Sounds Like: Sounds like 70's rock'n'roll colliding with the 80's. Feels like a band having some good times. Looks like... Well mainly they just try to avoid looking like THISP.S what is with bands describing their sound as "the love child of..."? For example - "My new-wave emo post-punk band sounds like the love child of Depeche Mode and The Cure". Now I'm just left with the image of Robert Smith having sex with David Gahan - and that's just creepy.
