..Influenced by the game and born on the west side of Detroit, 22 year old "Get Money Chri$" Hobson has endured a lot from sleeping in the street to hustling in them at a young age. He lost his mother at the tender age of eight. Soon there after, he migrated to the southeast side of Chicago, he realized that he has a story that can help others get through their own personal struggles in life. Rapping for about four years now, at one time he was going to quit, but many told him to keep going because he can be and is an inspiration to others. Instead of speaking "Death" upon himself and those in his circle of trust, he speaks "Life" and tells it how it is. Music is a way for him to paint his pain and tell his life's experiences. This is especially displayed at his shows. The versatility in his music is very strong, which is something that sets him apart from other MC's. "Get Money" can kick it for the streets, ladies and everyday life in general. He is currently a graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, and is a voice that is on the rise and finally getting heard!
