Still crazy after all these years...

About Me

Music is my whole damn life. I'm a singer-songwriter/keyboard player and play shows (both with my band and solo) around the Hollywood/Los Angeles area, as well as other parts of SoCal (San Diego, etc). I'm also gonna get to do some touring this summer, which I'm seriously excited about :)I'm an alum of USC (go Trojans!) where I majored in music industry. Still trying to figure out what happens now that I'm in the "real world", lol. Currently I work part-time in the scintillating field of real estate finance. Want to buy a shopping center or something? Give me a call, I'll hook you up! ;-) I recently took the plunge and got my own studio apartment here in Burbank, which I'm totally loving so far. I pretend to be a rock star but really, I'm just a huge dork, lol. I'm frequently too busy to even stop and breathe, but I still try to maintain some inkling of a social life when I can. That's the main stuff I guess. If you wanna know more about me or hear some of my music, check out my website (http://www.matthewjordan.com) or my band profile (http://www.myspace.com/matthewjordan)!!!

My Interests

Music, music, and um... music. Writing/singing my own songs and playing the keyboard/piano and guitar. Performing with my band around Hollywood and other parts of Southern California (and occasionally elsewhere - going on tour this summer!). Being a shameless self-promotional whore. Rooting for my USC Trojans (Fight on!) and occasionally the LA Lakers when they're not busy embarrassing me :P Not being afraid to look like a huge dork, because I am one! And um, just hanging out and being me. But really, who else would I be? ;)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone! I like meeting all kinds of people... particularly those who aren't afraid to act like as big of a dork as I am :-P Also, being creative and/or liking lots of good music is a big plus. It's Over Now.

So I'm officially done with school. Forever. I've actually been officially done since Monday but it's only now just *sort of* begun to sink in. I don't think it will sink in 100% until I don't go...
