About Me

Sports MySpace Layouts - Tennis MySpace Layouts Sports MySpace LayoutsI want to thank anyone who is doing the necessary job of trying to maintain order in a chaotic world. Even when things don't proceed as quickly or as easily as most Americans want, we are in an era where longtime commitment to certain principles is a necessity. My studies have proven to me that history is usually best judged several years later. So here's to those who are stationed around the globe, and ready to do the hard work that keeps freedom as a concept alive.
I am a historian, a dramaturg, and a stage manager. As an acting student at New York University, I studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. I eventually worked at the Joffrey Ballet as personal assistant to Gerald Arpino.
I love to research, and I received a BA in History from St. Edward’s University (Austin, Texas) and an MA in History from San Francisco State University. Returning to New York, I worked as assistant to director Walter Bobbie. On Broadway and on tour I have stage managed; Movin’ Out, Jay Johnson-The Two & Only, Footloose, The Music Man, A Chorus Line, Aida, and Monty Python's Spamalot, the VICTORIA'S SECRET Fashion Show on TV. As a dramaturg for the Twyla Tharp/Billy Joel musical Movin’ Out, I was a casting associate for both the Broadway and National Touring productions.
Most recently, I've been working on a research project on behalf of the Jerome Robbins Foundation. The end result will be a published reference catalogue detailing the entirety of Mr. Robbins’ creative output as a director and choreographer. (West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Gypsy, Peter Pan, King & I, etc. etc. etc.) This has afforded me the opportunity of a lifetime …the chance to study in depth not only the works of Mr. Robbins, but also Robbins’ collaborators, a virtual “Who’s Who” of the History of Musical Theatre and Dance in the 20th century.
I am currently working with the Bad Boys of Dance company as Artistic Associate. check out - www.badboysofdance.com!
