THE PERSONAL ME: I am a strong woman who's become comfortable in her skin. I love freely without restraint, and welcome love from others without fear. I embrace EVERY intricate and beautiful aspect of my nature, whether light or dark, wild or tame. In order to survive, I've assimilating different roles in life: child, lover, wife, mistress, temptress, victim, martyr, savior, teacher, guide and wise woman. Each role brought me a host of experiences that taught me lessons about ME - and I'm STILL LEARNING. No matter how demoralizing or inspiring the lesson, each makes me stronger. I sought wisdom from the Christian teachings of my southern forebears, from the "Red Ways" of my Native American Ancestors. While some of these traditions liberated me, others alienated me from MYSELF - the journey was hard, but glorious. I've embraced the varied teachings of the Old World Religions, Shamanism, Ancient Hebrew Mysticism, Christ and Buddha. Living and loving has taught me that we are not separate from one another; we are intrinsically connected. If you closely look you will see yourself in every face you encounter - and somewhere in the depths of that face lies the spirit of the divine. This truth makes it hard to judge another, and easier to love oneself. I feel very grateful for the friends I have and the new ones that enter my life on a daily basis - they are the RICHNESS of my life. I love every kind of person: sensitive men, self-righteous jocks, beautiful women, the wild-child, the innocent, the lost and the angry and hurting, ones seeking success and those wisely seeking themselves, the uptight princesses, niave little girls and spoiled drama queens, fathers, mothers, the Healers, the Wise
Women, women who know how to "Run With The Wolves" (you know who you are), the liberals and the conservatives, the dogmatics, and the laid-back "let's get it on" types, the renaissance types, and the neophytes...I LOVE THEM ALL, because I have a piece of all of them inside of me!
THE PROFESSIONAL ME: I make a living using my natural gifts as a:
Metaphysical Healer (Reiki Master), a Paranormal investigator and Psychic Medium,
a Shaman practitioner, Story Teller and Keeper of the Red Way,
Empath, and Tarot Card Master/Reader.
I augment my income with my artwork (oil on canvas - soon to appear on myspace)I am going back to school to pursue a degree in nutrition, and am contemplating working as a personal trainer. I am a diabetic and want to help women with diabetes and specific health issues.
FAMILY: I am one of three children born in the deep south. I came as a late uprise to my parents. I am the baby in the family of three. My sister is 16 years older and my brother 13. Both of my parents are deceased. While in the "living years" they provided me with a loving home and great memories. I was married once, it didn't work out, but I have a beautiful son from the experience,one of the rare and beautiful blessings in my life!
