About Me

all power to the imagination! It is forbidden to forbid!I am intuitive, quirky, and extremely creative. I have a passion to explore all the strange wonderful facets of life. My friends would probably describe me as quiet until I get to know you, deep, funny, honest, and intense. I am perfectly comfortable hanging out in my art studio working on my artwork, practicing my djing(breakbeat/tech house), cooking great vegetarian food (thai anyone?) or just reading a great book. I try to live daily by the lessons i have learned by being a Taoist. My life is extremely spiritual, and I try to "be here now" always.I also can be found out in town experiencing great music,live and dj. My fav spots are Solar Culture, Plush, and Heart Five . I am an active member of the quirky vibrant downtown art community, and contribute to events like the fantastic All Souls Procession. I also love to rock climb(red rocks & cochise stronghold favs), hike, participate in the Burningman art festival, practice social and political activism, and just be. The key element in my existence though is my artwork, for everything stems from it. I love artwork that asks you to participate in some way. I want to be part of it. I want to twiddle or tweak, interpret or analyze, get lost in reverie or be jolted into the present. I love art that makes me use my body or my head or my heart. Or better yet, all three. At the best of times, creating my work feels like channeling, and I am grateful that I can be the vessel of creativity. If my work touches something in you, the feeling is all yours. We've reached out to touch something together and brushed our fingertips.

I am a nu skool cyber breaks dj...so i constantly am on top of all the new tracks.Current favs include the autobots, deep impact, baobinga, control z, elite force.I pretty much listen to breakbeat, jazz(coltrane, mingus, and miles davis are all gods), punk(fugazi,propaghandi,etc), house(steve lawler, james lavelle), any live music...hell yeah...i can be found at Plush, Solar Culture...where ever it is playing.basically I love all music except pop music and this new shit they call country musick.
