State of Mine is a brand new Belgian band, risen from the ashes of the infamous punkskarocknrollmayhem bands Skyrocket John , Dad's Amp and Pukin' Monkeys. They'll bring you a fresh rocking mix of fast-paced punkrock and melodic riffs with their major influences being Belvedere, NOFX, Lagwagon, Strung Out and the inevitable Many More. The subject of most of SoM's lyrics can be found somewhere in the no man's land between political consciousness and plain stupidity, but always carry a glimpse of the '90's punkrock spirit we all love. SoM has been hitting local stages since November 2007, supporting bands like Pendleton (UK), High Five Drive (Can.), DrunkTank (NL), Rentokill (AU), Happening Leek and Gino's Eyeball. Since they don't want to keep all their experiences and frustrations for themselves, their first home recordings should be hitting your preferred audio carrier soon!
Don't hesitate hitting the message button if you would be interested in booking State of Mine, or if you'd be interested in putting up a show together!
