Basics: There are three things that dictate my daily life. MUSIC, essential for my well being. Making, listening, absorbing, inhaling... TIME, I always have a time schedule and a lot to worry about, hate wasting time. LOVE, real power is all about 'heart'. You can only love what you understand and I hate to see it when people stop trying to understand.Who I'd like to meet: When I'm sober: * George W Bush: dying to know whether he thinks he knows what he is/was doing ----- In process of getting drunk: * Brian Molko: to talk about sound and gear and hair shampoo * Gavin Rossdale: to create some walls of sound together. * Eddie Vedder: just to sing along together while drinking. ----- Just before I pass out: * The pope: dying to know whether he thinks he knows what he's doing. * Jesus: to tell him that he forgot to divide 'his love' equally amongst his sheep..History in music: I've used and abused music ever since I was seven. It seems to help me to maintain a more or less healthy state of mind. I've played the clarinet, alt sax and -very briefly- drums before discovering my love for guitar(s) at the age of 15. I almost instantly sang while playing, probably to make those simple chords sound less boring. I started out playing yearly concerts in brass bands.Music today: Today it's rock or (power)pop with some emo/indie/punk influences that I like most. I play in the Belgian rockband STAIRCASE, a band I founded in 1999 together with two of my best friends (check www.staircase.be or www.myspace.com/staircaseweb). Our second full album will be released, hopefully, in 2008. Somewhere in 2006, in addition to STAIRCASE, I started a two-piece garageband called THE BROJECT together with my brother Matti (drums). We play whatever we like. We're working on some first demo material.
