Four fucked up East Bay kids decided to get together six years ago and play some of the shit that they liked (really just antoher excuse to get fucked up), and The Shitbirds were born. A cover band with only one original song, we were bred on the pure hatred of Blink-182. The Shitbirds were out to show that you don't have to be a whiny fuck from L.A. to be in a cool band.
With 2007 quickly coming to get us, The Eastbay Shitbirds are on a mission. We added Matty on vocals a year and a half ago, and since then the ride has been great. We're going into the studio in early January to put tracks down for our first EP, and new shows are being added fast. Get out to a show, and we guarantee that we put on one of the most entertaining punk shows this side of the Mississippi.
